Ingredients that help you grow.

The substrates and additives your plants need to thrive.

From natural and organic peat moss mixes to biochar growing mix to professional wood fiber growing media to perlite and perlite-free substrates, fruitful growing starts with the perfect combination of ingredients.

Looking for a mix with a certain substrate?

  • Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss

Our select line of Canadian sphagnum peat moss is 100% sourced from VerifloraⓇ Responsibly Managed Peatland. The high water-holding capacity and excellent aeration make our peat moss the choice for growers who mix their own or other professional uses.

  • Coir

Made from coconut husks, coir consists of short natural fibers and sponge-like pith that help balance aeration and water-holding capacity in the mix.

  • Perlite

Perlite is a lightweight, expanded volcanic mineral that improves aeration and drainage in growing mixes while helping prevent compaction.

  • Bark

Originating from the forest product industry, bark is shredded or chipped and then composted before being added to a mix. Our professional bark potting mixes offer a broad range of applications ranging from small cell packs to large containers.

  • Biochar

Made from 100% natural, renewable forest products – including sawmill and lumber remnants – our biochar growing mix is an engineered aggregate designed to function as a sustainable alternative to horticultural perlite. More than just a perlite replacement, it provides additional functional benefits, including increased nutrient-holding capacity.

  • Wood Fiber

A collection of professional wood fiber growing media featuring proprietary, engineered wood fiber particles that provide ideal moisture, minimal dust and promoted flowability.

  • Compost

Compost is added to mixes to provide natural, stabilized organic matter. It also has excellent nutrient- and water-holding ability.
